I've had a strange problem show up a few times (both before and after I applied the patch).
During combat, something happened where none of the camera controls worked. Zoom, a-d/arrow/cursor-on-the-edge-of-screen, rotate camera view (both q-e keyboard and click-hold-pan versions) all stopped moving anything. The cursor moved around fine, and I was able to control combat on the things that happened to be on the screen.
When I say nothing moved, it's a bit of an exaggeration because 2 noticeable things seemed to pan when I tried to move:
1) Some colors/textures from the background moved, and
2) When I put some of my guys on ambush, the ambush symbols (sort of a shield/chevron looking thing) moved.
In some cases the best tactics I could use was to put everyone on ambush or to move them to a spot on the screen that I could see. I could not target enemies that did not happen to be on the displayed part (and in one case I found that I could not target an enemy that was under the "dot-matrix printer" scroll).
In one case the problem fixed itself when the camera decided it needed to move during the enemy turn. In some cases I managed to win the battle anyway. In some cases I died.
Is this part of the dx11 mess or is it something different? I'm on a 64-bit win8 rig.
-edit- I thought I was in a different thread, when I posted this. I can see that it does not belong here. I apologize.
