Hi all,

We've uploaded the Windows and Mac patch 2.2 hotfixes and yes, there's another entire Linux tarball. Yes, we know it's a pain and we are working on streamlining the Linux patching process but I don't have an ETA on that right now, sorry :(

Here are the following file names that you should have in order to ensure you have the latest version of the game:

patch_wasteland2_2.3.0.12.exe for Windows (labelled as Patch 2.2 (hotfix for patch 2.1) on your game shelf.)

patch_wasteland2_2.0.2.4.pkg for Mac users (labelled as Wasteland 2 patch 2.2 (hotfix) on your game shelf)

For Linux the latest version of the tarball is gog_wasteland_2_1.3.0.7.tar.gz.

Wasteland 2 Patch 2.2 (hotfix)

As I haven't installed the game yet, do I just use the Mac installer & Patch 2.2 (hotfix)?
If you have this file wasteland2_2.2.0.4.dmg then that's the only one you need as it's the Mac installer updated to the latest version :)

If you have the older Mac installer, then all you need is the Wasteland 2 patch 2.1 and then the hotfix :)

Yes, I can see that one too, but it is only 1,5 mb as opposed to the other ones 1,9 Gb?
Like I said, I never bothered with the first patch....

I got a message within the installer saying that the installation failed.
"The installation encountered an error that prohibited the installation. Contact the program developer and ask for assistance"

Running mac, latest OS, and patched the 1.2 Patch a few weeks ago without any troubles.

This is EXACTLY same message/error I get every time I try installing patch. Really frustrating and I am loosing my fecking patience.

Mate, I am puzzled. Hotfix is there, but at only 1 Mb, the 2,2 patch is 1,9 Gb.
I read that hot fix fixes language issues only. I have no problems there. But the real patch takes care of a bunch of things. Why would I need hot fix if I don't even have the first patch? I downloaded the 2,2 patch zillion of times but every time I try and install the bloody thing it tells me that installation failed and I should contact supplier (or sums much). Now what the heck is going on with this thing? I am loosing my bl**dy temper....

Somthing strange about Mac patches: Mac installer is 2.2.0.4 already but patches is only 2.0.2.3 and 2.0.2.4. How can it be?..

Tried number of times to install this patch, getting same "install failure error" message. don´t really care anymore. Been disappointed with the game so why a not working patch would make me happy? crap all-around..... so bloody disappointed....

Sounds like you need to refresh your account if you can not download the right files. Im on a tiny tablet so I can not find the link for you though.

You mentioned 2.2, which is the hotfix. I understood this to be that you do not have 2.1 in your library. If you have the base game installed properly, you should just get 2.1.

If scrubbing the game clean off your computer, re-downloading the game installer (and make sure that the file is not corrupt, it IS a large download with plenty of time for things to go wrong), install, then apply 2.1... and it still won't work... only then would I say you have done everything possible to patch the game to the latest version without success.
