Whenever I try and install Wasteland 1 I just get a text box saying "Sever Problems"
I'm having the same issue - likely a result of the sale
Just download the offline installer and install it the traditional way. GOG Galaxy will then find it so you can even launch it through there.

Tried that, and it doesn't work. GOG Galaxy says it can't find any game files in the directory that I installed the game to.
Same thing for me last night but it just now installed just fine.

Given the "keys depleted" thing I noticed here on the forum as well, what I expect happened was that GOG gave away Wasteland 2 as planned but hadn't noticed that the version it provided or at least linked to as a store page provided a free Wasteland 1 key as well. That they and/or the game-developer then scrambled to get a boatload of keys to hand out when people started redeeming them, but at that point still weren't prepared for the millions of cheapskates subsequently hitting the poor old server that hosted Wasteland 1 to us...

Clearly that might all also just be nonsense but if not then the other option would've been for GOG and/or inXile to just say "ah, foo, sorry guys, but Wasteland 1 wasn't supposed to be included" which given that I currently have the game sitting on my harddrive they did not.

So, if that was the case --- and in fact even if it wasn't --- many thanks to GOG and inXile for supplying two free games :-)
