It is way easier to redeem a code, just most people don`t scroll ... its at the bottom of every page ;)

Glad I could help. My apologies for the 404 issue. As hohiro mentioned, there is a <span class="bold">Redeem Code</span> link at the bottom of every page. You could just copy the code itself and then paste it in that new link to get the same effect. Still, you got your code working and that's what matters. Happy gaming!

WabbitTwaks: Follow what Tekkaman-James stated above and copy the last digits of the link it provides (the code after the final slash but not including the slash of course) Then click the "REDEEM CODE" link on the bottom of this page (or any page, I think) and paste your code there. It will provide you with your free gift of Wasteland 1.

Tekkaman-James: Belsirk, you are mistaken. Both versions of Wasteland 2 on GOG come with a free download code for Wasteland 1.

Since GOG recently changed how your game shelf works, I'm not surprised you couldn't find it. Follow these steps:

1.) Hover over the "Account" tab on the top-right of the page.

2.) In the drop-down that appears, click "Library".

3.) Find Wasteland 2 on your game shelf. An easy way to do so is to use the Search field just above your game list.

4.) Click on the Wasteland 2 icon that is on your game shelf.

5.) On the new window that appears, click the "More" button which is right next to the blue button that says "Try GOG Galaxy".

6.) On the drop-down menu that appears, click on "Serial Keys". On the right of the new screen, you will see a URL.

7.) Copy and paste the URL into your address bar to redeem the free copy of Wasteland 1.

Let me know if you need any further assistance getting this working. Otherwise, Happy Gaming!

Nuwyn: Now I am getting a message that reads that the keys are "depleted". I really appreciate your response though, that got me to the correct place.

I just went ahead and bought it and will gift the extra code to someone when GOG gets back to me.
I too am getting the Depleted message for Serial Keys. It really irks me since they advertise the game as coming with a copy of Wasteland 1

Belsirk: One tip, you only has ONE SINGLE SAVE SLOT. If you left any town (Even with PC dying) will be overwritten, so, is a quick way to refresh your team the first time.

Ah, and there is a key for letting pass time instead of walk like crazy (I discovered until reached the final area).
It is also possible (in the DOS version anyway) to set macros. This is useful for allowing large amounts of time to pass, and is the main method of healing characters who are at positive health.

Well, just now I bought Wasteland 2 Deluxe Edition and hoping to get Wasteland 1 Classic as well but when I do what you wrote above it says Serial Keys Depleted and I don't own Wasteland 1. The key for The Bard's Tale was there and I reedemed it without a problem. So should I contact support about this or what?! Thanks in advance!

I sent in a support ticket to find out what is going on with the lack of Wasteland 1 serial keys. I would recommend you do the same. The more people that complain about the issue I would think the faster they would try to resolve it..

Thanks! I did it! So now we wait! I will be really sad if this is not resolved because I wanted to buy Wasteland 1 only but when I saw 50% discount on Wasteland 2 Digital Deluxe Edition and what you get with it I wanted to support both GOG and InExile so I bought it!

I bought WASTELAND 2 DIGITAL DELUXE EDITION on 2015/07/19.
But I have no get GOG.com codes for Wasteland 1: The Original Classic until today.
The Serial keys is display "Serial keys depleted ".
I contact gog.com and it has no reply about the Serial keys depleted.
So I am very sad about no get Wasteland 1: The Original Classic......

EDIT: I reached out to forum moderator JudasIscariot and he said that GOG Support is aware of the issue and is working on getting it sorted out. They do not have an estimated time for resolution yet, but they will contact everyone who has been affected once they have a clearer plan for how to handle this. Please. just try to be patient for the time being.

Thanks for the update. That was my suspicion. It seems as though GoG has been hammered with support questions since Witcher 3 launch. I am confident that everything will ultimately be resolved. At least in my experience GoG has been pretty good at making people whole.
