Getting screen tearing.
That stuff while moving the camera: http://docs.unity3d.com/uploads/Main/Tearing.png
Setting "Vertical Sync" ingame and/or forcing it to on in nvidia control panel and/or installing newest driver 344.11 and/or disabling the second monitor do nothing.
Awaiting fix.
Not installing some obscure stuff like rivatuner or nvidia inspector. Playing another game until this is fixed.
Proof it's not my rig is that in Ether One (Unreal Engine) it just works. You select "vsync" checkbox and the tearing is gone.
Further specs: Windows 7 using a 60Hz TFT.
Never play a game on release day I guess :(

I guess you have AMD?
He have a Nvidia ...
I have the same problem on Linux with my Nvidia, the only fix that i found is to play with the windowed screen...
Vsync can be tricky to get working in some games. You might try a 3rd party program, like D3DOverrider that comes packaged with RivaTuner. I used that to force Vsync in The Witcher, maybe it will work for this.
right click on WL2 and go to launch option and put in "-force-d3d9" without the quotes, it's a temporary fix.
I can confirm that using -force-d3d9 command line parameter to "WL2.exe" does get rid of the tearing completely on my rig, on these settings: Anti-Aliasing:On, SSAO:Off, AnisotropicFiltering:PerTexture, MotionBlur:Off. Note that after starting the game with the parameter, you have re-check the box beneath "Vertical Sync" again. If I go any higher, for example, setting SSAO to on or AnisotropicFiltering:ForceOn, I get tearing only in the upper tenth of my screen, but still way better than without -force-d3d9. To be clear, any of those settings did not matter at all and I still got massive tearing without using that parameter.
Thank you, Sxerks!
Hello, I've had the same issues as OP, but having trouble fixing the problem. I right-clicked the WL2 shortcut, clicked properties, and added the "-force-d3d9" on the Target line after "C:\GOG Games\Wasteland 2\WL2.exe." Is this the wrong way to go about this?

After doing this, and changing in-game options, still getting bad tearing.

Would love some help; this is the only thing lessening my enjoyment of the game so far! Cheers

EDIT: I seemed to figure it out (at least for my computer): Make sure to add the command line prompt to the shortcut of the game, and launch from there as well. Opening the regular WL2.exe file again still had the same tearing issues. Your mileage may vary!

Still, irritating we have to do a workaround for vsync given it was working fine in beta.

The VSync issues are being caused by bugs in our DX11, hence why forcing it back to using DX9 as you're doing fixes it.

We'll look into what's causing these issues and fix them as soon as possible.

Thanks for the reply. Only been out a day, so certainly no real aggravation on my end. Loving it so far, cheers.

PS, although not a priority, would love an option to have even larger text for those wanting to play at 1440p or 4k resolutions. Looks great at those resolutions, but the text is a bit small (more of an issue at 4k).

Hi BrotherNone,

Same thing with the Linux version :
- If V-Sync is enabled in-game = tearing
- Disable tearing in-game and set the frequency to 120 = tearing disappear (30 = very bad, 60 = bad, 90 = middle, 120 = good)

Thanks to don't forget us :)

Doesn't work for me. Since I set motion blur off, I get some tearing with vsync on and terrible tearing with vsync off. Adding -force-d3d9 to the launch target doesn't seem to change anything at all. Windows 7 x64, HD6950, latest (stable) drivers.

EDIT: I get much less tearing (but still a little) when I set shadow quality to Off.
