Why is the Wasteland 3 Expansion Pass available at steam and not for the GOG customers?
Post edited June 05, 2021 by Windforce
Would like to buy the pass too...
Gog please...can you tell us what's is going on?
For those of us who were not aware that there was even this option and already paid full price for a the first DLC, will there be cut rate pricing for us for the second DLC coming later this summer (~$6.00)? Or if the expansion pass becomes available, will we get a deduction for the DLC already paid for?

You might want to consider putting in a refund request. It's really only a few bucks at most you'll save, but money is money.

I submitted a support ticket, and I'll see what they say, if anything at all. If anyone wants to do so also they can at the following link:

https://inxile.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/categories/115000817967-Wasteland-3

Top-right where it says "Submit a request"
I did get a response back from inXile, and they said they're working on it, and to check back at the game page frequently. So it sounds like they're aware of the situation at least, and will hopefully get the Expansion Pass up for sale here on GOG in the near future.

Great!
Thank you for sharing the information :)
So this sucks kinda! I had purchased the first dlc not knowing there is a season pass!

Hi,

What you should do is submit a refund request, and then purchase the Expansion Pass. You can submit a refund request easily through Galaxy by selecting "Ask for a refund" under the Wasteland 3: The Battle of Steeltown DLC in your Order History.

I don't know the exact date that it was put up, but the Wasteland 3 Expansion Pass is now available and will come up when searching for it.

Well just looked,. as games on sale
£30.99 -50% £15.49
$39.99 -50% $19.99

DLC NOT on Sale
The Battle of Steeltown = £9.99 ($13.99)
Cult of the Holy Detonation = £5.19 ($6.99)

Both DLC = £15.18 ($20.98)
Expansion pass = £15.49 ($19.99)

So not much of a discount in USA, but actually cheaper to buy Separate DLC in UK.
WTF?

Its an epidemic these days. Pricing stupidity. For the black friday sale, the expansion pass isn't on sale, nor are the seperate dlc's. Even the Colorado version nor the Deluxe edtion are on sale.

You can buy the whole game with all the content on another platform for just under $30. Even then, it seems to make sense to buy the products individually to save $3-4 on that platform.

For the sake of sanity, devs/pubs wake up. You make it all the more easier to just not bother buying your products or waiting for the absolute best deal, gaming the system in any way possible with deals/coupons/bundles etc..

Oh, woe is me... cry the devs and publishers. We must raise the default price of games to $70! Then they go and play endless games with pricing.
Came on the forum to have a look on that matter.
Beside the sale of the main game only, on steam everything is even cheaper.
Main game is 67% off while here it is at 50%

This game is not the only one with such discrepancies of sale between main game and DLCs.
Make me wait even more to buy games (which means less money for dev, I do not buy games at full price any more partially because of that behavior from publishers).

Guess will wait a bit more.
