I am pissed to no end, got E9 at 95% or thereabouts. Downloading the offline installer, thankfully that's an option.
And another +1

Got up to 92%, got the "GOG.com servers returned an unknown error." (E9) message, also got the "Uninstall failed (E15) - There was a problem with uninstalling the game." message as well.

I installed a different game afterwards just to test the Galaxy client and the GOG.com servers, installed without a hitch.

I also tried to manually import the half-downloaded folder and try to verify/repair it but again, I got the same "Update failed (E9) - GOG.com servers returned an unknown error." message.

Windows 10 Pro (x64) build 2004.
I am experiencing the same issue. Download failed at 100% with an E9 'unknown' error. Retry and Uninstall both failed. Rebooted my computer and the Install button is now greyed out. Nothing in the Manage Configuration menu is helpful.
Apparently I'm experiencing the same issue, as well. I thought the installation was corrupted, so I deleted it. Now the Install button is disabled. Has anyone experienced this before or found any official communication from GOG yet?

Sweet_Anodyne: I think they just updated the store with the Digital Deluxe Edition, because I remember not seeing it on GOG, but seeing it on Steam earlier this day.

Maybe they had to update game files or something and that screwed with the servers? I hope I don't have to download everything again.

EDIT: I checked my downloads tab and the offline backup installer is seemingly re-downloading the game. I'll update when it finishes whether the game becomes playable or not.

EDIT: Install button is still greyed out after offline backup installer reached 100%
offline installer installed it to gog games/wasteland 3

i manually moved it to where i have my games and then it showed play.

play button still doesnt work (not greyed out anymore) because it tries to download some patch and gives a e9 error.

EDIT: running the game from the exe worked.

Can confirm that running from .exe at least opens the game, there may be problems down the line, we'll see.

Just so anyone else wants to try this the steps are:

1. Extras tab on Galaxy game page, click offline backup installers (gonna have to wait again if you already tried downloading)
2. It should either be in GOG Games folder or GOG Galaxy > Games folder
3. You should have Wasteland 3 folder, look for WL3.exe and click on it

In my case, after I "imported" the "broken" installation the warnings remained but the "Play" button was active.

And yes, the game started up fine and is playable (at least in the starting area)...

EDIT: *Sigh* and the Backer/pre-order rewards aren't available and the DLC installer doesn't recognize the game installation.

Guess I'll have to re-download 24GB again tomorrow...

I have a greyed out install button on the Galaxy 2.0 app. I have a few other games I got for free that all have a lit up install button, so I dunno what the problem is with Wasteland 3. This really blows. Something told me just to get it on Steam but I wanted to give these guys some support for once since they are such a great company.

I am able to start a download from the backup installer but from what I have read that version of the game will not get updates and MP is off as well as achievements. Guess I'll try and get a refund if it's not working by tomorrow D:

Actually, you CAN "import folder" into the galaxy client and it will be recognized correctly, that's how I got it to play.

Once imported it will also update as normal.

Yeah this is real fun waiting 6 hours for a game i pre ordered and wanted to play on release... lol
Installation button is back up. Installed fine for me, no errors so far. DLC installed as well.
Ok after waiting several minutes for it to allocate disk space I realized something must be wrong so I aborted the installation to try again. But now its taking longer to delete the 1 percent it installed then it took to install it! What the hell is going on?
