I finally got to the monk temple and now I find out that I lose my clothes... for no reason! :-E

Clothing in W2 serves no purpose other then aesthetic and now, for NO positive reason, that is completely destroyed.
I haven't seen a single clothing shop in the entire game thus far, so no way to replace them.
How could someone think destroying my characters aesthetic was a good idea?!?
This is a huge contrast from the rest of the game, which is a lot of fun.

I can't believe anyone thought this shit was a good idea!
GRRRRRR!

Some types of damage can destroy your clothes (and usually provoke a lot of damage on you). The best example are in the Canyon with the monk's nukes. You truly need to be FAR from they when they immolate.

I lost my gorilla costume like that :( sniff sniff
By the way, in the Monk Canyon there is a cowboy who sell clothes.
Steam pipes can vaporise clothes too. But not on party members who join you, like Angela and so on. A workaround is to remove your clothes if you see that a monk will blow up in your face, then put them back on later.

I helped that military group take over the valley; is that cowboy still accessible?
I didn't find him when I went through, so no idea where he is.

Thanks for the heads up.
I've only just gotten to the steam pipes now in angel tower.

Hmm, I did see all my team`s clothing vanishing during the monk stage and I wondered what the heck was going on there, but later they were all back. But then all my custom team are men (I`ve heard the problem is greater with custom females).

p,s, there are no clothing shops, but you can buy and find bits of clothes. just don`t expect them all to work, like Fedoras which are completely useless for no logical reason.

Nope, the cowboy is only available before you do any of the quests related to the big nukes.

Yeah. I find this whole destroying your clothing thing to be downright stupid.
It makes me angry every time I see it happen!
