After doing some more research, it appears the version of the game I received is neither the digital deluxe or digital classic version, it's a version which is not sold on GOG which includes only the game and manual.

-----------------------------------------------

I recently unboxed Wasteland Director's Cut from a Pinata in the Pinata sale. According to the store page, I should be eligible for either a Wasteland 1 code, or a Wasteland 1 code and a Bard's Tale code, depending on whether the version I have is the digital deluxe or the digital classic (it does not say in my order history or library.)

I cannot find how to access either code; I followed the instructions in this thread, however there is no "Serial Keys" option under "More.."

Is this because I received the game from a Pinata, or perhaps I received some version not listed for sale on GOG which only includes the game?

Are three editions of the game:
Wasteland 2 Director's Cut Edition
Wasteland 2 Digital Classic (that have a bonus key for Wasteland 1)
Wasteland 2 Director's Cut Digital Edition (that is a bundle of the two previous plus Wasteland 1 and Bard's Tale).

For what you said, You have the first, that not include any extra games.

I feel cheated cause I also got this on a pinata.
Not only it doesn't contain any bonus, there's not an option to buy the bonus content from the Digital Classic edition (as I'm a sucker for game OSTs).
In other words, I'd have to buy this game again if I want the whole package.
I know the rules of the pinata sale says that special editions wouldn't be eligible to be drawn, but this "empty" Wasteland 2 Director's Cut Edition is not even listed for sale.
There are only two choices: either Digital Classic or Digital Deluxe. The Upgrade package is to upgrade from Classic to Deluxe.
The editions are:

Wasteland 2 Director's Cut Digital Deluxe Edition
https://www.gog.com/game/wasteland_2_directors_cut_digital_deluxe_edition[/url]]
Included goodies: manual+ 3 Wallpapers (1440p)+ Wasteland Novella 1+ Wasteland Novella 2 + Wasteland Novella 3 + Wasteland Avellone Novel (coming soon) + map + reference card + Official Soundtrack (FLAC) + Official Soundtrack (MP3) + soundtrack (4 choir songs, FLAC) + soundtrack (4 choir songs, MP3) + Concept Art Book
About: In addition to the above goodies, the Digital Deluxe Edition includes: GOG.com codes for Wasteland 1: The Original Classic and The Bard's Tale.

Wasteland 2 Director's Cut Digital Classic Edition

Included goodies: manual+ 3 Wallpapers (1440p)+ reference card+ map + Official Soundtrack (MP3) + Official Soundtrack (FLAC) + soundtrack (4 choir songs, FLAC) + soundtrack (4 choir songs, MP3) + Concept Art Book
About: In addition to the above goodies, the Digital Classic Edition includes: GOG.com code for Wasteland 1: The Original Classic.

"Wasteland 2 Director's Cut"
This is the one I got in my pinata. It does not have a sales page on GOG
Included goodies: manual

The thing which made this an annoyance was this: Games in the user library have a link to the games sales page called "Store page & reviews". And as soon as I got the game, I followed that link and ended up on Wasteland 2 Director's Cut Digital Deluxe Edition, which naturally made me think that this was the edition that I had won, and that stuff was missing.

It doesn't bother me much, though. I think this was a pretty lucky draw! Still, it's a bit stupid that they made me focus on some stuff I didn't get, through bad design.

I just noticed today that Wasteland 2 was added to my account. It appears to be the Digital Classic edition. So that was a nice gesture by InXile. I'm assuming it was because I opened Wasteland 2 via Pinata, I can't think of any other reason for me to receive the game.
After buying Wasteland 2 DC DDE, on the Galaxy, where do I find these codes?

Well, found solution in another thread and its very unobvious

"...Go to your library on gog.com (not on Galaxy), click on ‘Wasteland 2 Director’s cut’, then ‘More’ and ‘Serial keys’. Copy and paste the grey link..."

Just got this from the giveaway that's happening right now and found the serial key in the menus but it reads "Serial keys depleted". What's up?
I think that it's because it's a giveaway. What I'm wondering is if you buy the upgrade to deluxe edition will you get wasteland 1 and the bard's tale codes?
I picked up the key Wasteland 1 half hour after adding the game.
Where would one find that code for wasteland1? Anybody know?

Quite. Could somebody please just point out where that code should be / is or was for them? Reading stuff about "depleted keys" and all here on the forum, but for me there's just nothing to be found anywhere.

EDIT: Found it. It's not "here on GOG Galaxy", if indeed you are reading this through the GOG client, but on the web. Login to your account on the web, go to your library ("Games" under your profile header), click Wasteland 2 Director's Cut", Pick "More", "Serial Keys" and open the there provided link for the "Wasteland 1 gift code" in a new tab, choose "Continue" and add Wasteland 1 to your library,

Currently it won't in fact download ("server error") but that'll no doubt fix itself in due time. It is from that point in your library.

Thank you that worked like a charm :)

Thank you for this, i´d never found it myself. -.-

as a sidenote: if you bought the digital deluxe-upgrade, you find here a second key named "Wasteland 2 Director's Cut Digital Deluxe Edition Upgrade"
Dont let the name fool you like it did me for a moment. Thats the code for "Bards Tale"
