1. I expected there would be the true original version without the modifications and the modded version,
but guess that is not the case?
2. Where can i find a dosbox config file if there is any?

[EDIT] okay never mind about question 1, seems it can be turned off.

The config file gets generated to:
# %localappdata%\inXile entertainment\Wasteland\wl.conf (Windows 7/8)
# C:\Local Settings\%USER%\Local Settings\Application Data\inXile entertainment\Wasteland\wl.conf (Windows XP/Vista)
# ~/Library/Application Support/Wasteland/wl.conf (OSX)
# ~/.wasteland/wl.conf (Linux)

1. Thanks to the ability to disable things like smoothing, new portraits and such, I'm not bothered about the true original version, but I understand your disappointment.

2. I assume GOG will eventually roll out that feature (DOSBox config file), since on Steam they have already patched this in and fixed some bugs.

Oh yeah sorry, the config being exposed isn't live yet here. Will do ASAP
You can play the original, unmodified DOS version if you want. The original game files are located in the ..\Wasteland\rom\data directory, but the wl.exe is in ..\Wasteland\rom. You'll need to copy or move the wl.exe to the data directory. Once you do that, you can run the game from this directory (or copy it to a new one) and just run it in DOSBox.
Okay, so maybe this is due to my relative inexperience with macs, but even when I go to the said area where the config file is supposed to be( ~/Library/Application Support/Wasteland/wl.conf), I am stopped at the application support due to there being no folder for Wasteland. At the same time, I know the game is saving somewhere due to the fact I uninstalled it and still had a game saved when I re installed the newest version. Any help would be appreciated!

EDIT: Nevermind. Got everything figured out
