At every launching, the only option is to create a new hero, with or without any patches ...
It makes the game pretty useless ...
If someone has a solution it would be great, the games seems to be fun.
( with Vista HP 32b, or in XP compatibility mode, same ... )

There is no true save option for the game. In regards to the campaign, it should remember where your hero was next time you select them. (It saves after each mission/turn)
You can save mid-battle, but if you use the hero in any other mode, the save becomes unavailable, and the mission must be restarted. This is why the "LOAD GAME" option is normally greyed out.
Or is the game not remembering played heroes, and forcing you to create a new one each time you start it?

I have a problem with forcing me to create new hero when starting the game... Please, help, it's quite annoying...
