I know... It's really a shame that Dark Omen is not offered here. It's a superb game; a true classic. I have finished in 5+ times and would gladly play it again if I was able to buy it here. Some of the missions are simply unforgettable, and pre-mission dialogues were often hilarious!
I know right. I dont know what the hold up would be. It offers multiplayer, maybe (small glimer of hope) they are working on it for Galaxy optimisation.
There are 4000 votes on Dark Omen in the request forum and over 200 comments, so clearly there is a demand for it. So I am not sure why DO is not here when so many other Warhammer games are here...

You're right. It's great.
Dark Omen has problems running on modern OS. There is a fan site where they patched the original install to work on Win 7 but if I remember right even that has a few strange work arounds.

Your best bet is to buy a PS3 and the original PS1 port of the game.

Indeed, additionally controls are horrible and it looks like horsesh** compared to the D3D-beauty on the pc.

The game in its original form needs some work to run properly. I'm running DO on Win10 at the moment without any problems. There was once an illegal installer version floating around the web that did all the work. I'm not quite sure where I got it from. The only thing I always had problems with the game was the 3D-acceleration: On some graphic cards it works, on others it doesn't. Generally NVidia-cards seem to work much better, I had no luck with Ati-cards however. In software-mode it worked everytime I tried it, but is far away from the original beauty (especially noticable with the ugly banding in dark regions, due to unsupported 16-bit dithering on modern graphic cards).

If GOG manages to solve these issues and present the game as I can remember it from back in the days I'll gladly pay some of my hard earned coppers for it.
I agree. Dark Omen should be on GOG by now~
I know the solution to the problem on modern OS, these are two files that need to be copied to the installation directory.
d3drm.dll, ddraw.dll. Thanks to the site dark-omen.org

EA own the source code and Games Workshop own the art and designs, so I have put both in contact with each other. However, Covid19 occurred and I don't think it progressed any further. As soon as EA release the source code to GW then they can legally allow GOG to sell it. Check out the Dark Omen forum for Windows 10 fixes and mods.
