ShadowTrooper: Patch today was larger, like 11 gb, but it still failed to install and had the same e9 error code. Gog and owlcat really need to address this soon.

cielaqu: No problem on my end. Have you checked av logs?
I've just switched to an offline installer so I can at least play now instead of getting locked out like I did in galaxy. Although I'm honestly considering just setting the game down for a while and playing something else until they get their "Act" together.
For some reasons the updates work fine for me.

As always there's the internet connection issue.

outpost75: I've managed to fix it for me.

1. Go to the Settings (to cog in the top left corner)
2. Go to Installing, updating
3. Change "Temporary game update folder" from "Save into game installation folder" to an other folder. I set it to "E:\GOG Games\Temp"
4. Restart the update/download

The last two patches are still not available as offline installer. I was hoping that they would be available after a successful patch.

Worked for me, thanks.
There was a new update an hour ago, 10.70.404 Modded. I'm not downloading it, I just want to play the game, had to reinstall it two times already.

Didn't work for me. I had to uninstall and reinstall the entire game. Again.

I even tried copy/pasting all the downloaded files into the game folder, and the game didn't recognize any update had occurred after I switched back to the "Temporary game update folder.". I hope Owlcat/GOG fixes this issue.
Hey,

In my case, Galaxy client just updated the game to the latest ver.1.0.70.404 without issues.

And if we DON'T use Galaxy, what then? Because I only use the offline installers for personal reasons. I joined GOG for the sole purpose of NOT needing a launcher or internet connection, and I would really, REALLY like to play the updated Rogue Trader.

If the game is patched quite often, quality control alone on updates files will take time. Galaxy just receives new repository and push it.

This fix works amazingly, I've added a few images of where you need to click.

I saw that the offline installers are updated. I now see version 1.0.73.407 Modded

I mention this here since I did not get a notification for this update
Default settings for installation still acting up on GOG Galaxy for this product alone.
And we have offline installers for patch 1.0.78.413 Modded

And once again I did not receive an update notification
And 1.0.79.414.2 Modded is here

The updates are fairly close to the steam updates now
