I'm pretty sure there was a skirmish mode and editor as I recall playing around with the map. It's been a long time...

That is unfortunate.

Skirmish mode works for me in WarWind 1, but I only tried single player. If there are multiple computer opponents, they will apparently not attack each other no matter alliances, they only attack the human player. So it's quite limiting how you can play skirmish single player and make maps. But for multiplayer it would be really nice, there are some interesting mode like Treasure Hunt (must find I think 4 different items on the map and place them in your Town Hall to win the game), for example. If somebody gets to try multiplayer and made it work let me know : O

i had no trouble getting multiplayer working but, i have ip version 6 disabled on one of my pcs.(i have played both games multplayer several times) you might need to disable it to get it to run. i still have no idea how to use certain units however. i can not build surveliance satelites for example.
