Wilderdk: DLC wont install after a update, i mark them also, but the are not marked, its seems the install, but the dont..
When I ran the update, it requested my Admin password during installation, as it normally does. One password request for each DLC.
But the following day, I see All the DLCs with “update available” again, each with a separate “install” button.
Funny enough, my installation tells me I have 0 DLCs, although I bought the full anniversary package that contains all DLCs, plus the Worker’s skins.
This update seems to have been messed up somehow. I’m going to run the game and check what the game itself tells me. I’ll report back.
Edit1:
I just ran WFTO and it actually does not contain the DLCs anymore after the update.
My Pet Dungeon, Heart of Gold, Underlord Edition and Seasonal Worker Skins seem to be missing in the installation.
Edit 2:
I followed the instrutions for a possible solution
here, in a nother subthread. I deleted all three Galaxy dll’s in the game folder, killed all Galaxy threads and restarted Galaxy. Unfortunately that didn’t help.
I then just rolled back to the previous version (1.6.66.F3). The DLC was still not registered, but now I could update all DLCs and all 5 are registered again.
I think I’ll just ignore the latest patch (1.6.66F5) and wait for the next one.
I also hate that there is no info about the content of the latest patch. This is a more general problem with GOG. Often, patches come much earlier than the info logs about them.
