I have tried to figure out what is causing this, and it happend last time when I played a race and hold the accelerate button (alt) and then pressed the fire button (ctrl) while holding ALT. I dont remember if I was turning or not, so something tells me Dosbox crashes if too many buttons are being pressed at once. It also crashes when playing with two players.

Anyone else have this problem? Its on windows 10, Lenovo laptop if it makes a difference.

This is a very late reply but hopefully this will help some other confused souls out there.

I had what I believe is the same problem as you. The windows 10 short cut for screen flipping is ctrl/alt/arrow and the default keyboard controls are alt for accelerate, ctrl for fire, arrow keys to turn.

Using the numpad arrows avoids this, which is what I did.
