Steam version seems to have gotten its first patch last night. Wonder if it should be expected here too or did they manage to squash those bugs before the game got to GOG...

Also (from Steam patch notes): The game breaks due to falling into the elevator shaft near the dam. Fixed in Update #1 (see above). -- I fell there alright, but how would I know if my game is "broken"?

It'll show up in your library - either as a patch or as a new base installer.
Thanks
GOG will upload the patch after they've finished counting our money. And they'll make us download the whole game again to use it.

It doesn't break if you take the elevator right back up and continue your game as intended. It's probably not ideal for the Story progression if you continue down there.

Uh, as open world as this is, what is "as intended" in this case..? I didn't take it up and went into the mines and completed them.

I also fell into the shaft and then procedeed to complete the game in what would seem to be reverse order...
I think that's the only consequence, the story isn't told chronologically. It doen't actually break anything.

You can also always launch the Gog.com Downloader and at the top it should say 1 game updated and you can click that to get things rolling. That's how I always do it. I log into the site now and again.

Update #2 is now live on Steam!

This is why I'm excited for GOG Galaxy, It will make patching way easier.
