JC118899: If you missed it there is was an official blog post from neocore about the delay. Here is a link,

So... It's official now!? Another HUGE delay just because of the optional Galaxy client -.-
Yes, we’re working on bringing Final Cut to GOG.com, but there are still a few bumps on the road, the game must work perfectly with the GOG Galaxy client, and that takes also time.

meeting the requirements for the Xbox certification process and the GOG Galaxy needs something more and something different.
I seriously hate this client -.-

Odd that it took them that long to say anything at all. Maybe they just screwed up? If they're constantly thinking, "oh, it's so close to ready, I'll just patch it up and it'll be out in a few days", but the days add up faster than they realize, then you could end up doing something like this. But it's horribly unprofessional and a bit mind-boggling why they couldn't have made an announcement like this one right away. Pulling teeth...

It's possible that Neocore has completely flubbed this release, but I actually think they might not be to blame. Crate Entertainment just recently said that GOG is getting Grim Dawn late because GOG kept making unreasonable demands, causing the negotiations to take a while. I suspect that it's the same scenario with VH:FC, but Neocore is trying to be professional by not talking about the deals and potentially bad-mouthing their business partner.

Crate had 6 years to ask to GOG, and they asked 6 months before the release... Who's not serious??
Why did they ask to Steam very early, and not to GOG?
Even, Crate says they thought that Steam was not a drm, they wanted the game to be Steam-only without telling this to backers when promising a drm-free game... What a mockery.

I just hope that galaxy will not be IMPERATIVE in order to make the game work.

That does sound pretty ridiculous. I don't know about any of that; I didn't even know Grim Dawn existed until about six months ago. I was just trying to raise the possibility that Neocore isn't as lazy, incompetent, etc. as people have been making them out to be.
After 1 month from email I send and they responded, still no steam key...
Anyone get a response yet? My last email was about a month ago, indicating that the GOG release was "in a few days". It's definitely been a long few days...
Does it matter if the Gog Galaxy works or not. they can always patch it fixed later. O_o...... Just eager to play all 6 classes on LAN with family :)

Question is ---> galaxy is optional, why not release it like another suggestion sans galaxy for time being

Exactly this! This optional beta client seems to be the reason why a finished game isn't being released here xP

Just sent in yet ANOTHER email. If this one doesn't work I am boycotting Neocore for the rest of their existence. Not releasing on GoG in a timely manner, I can forgive. I like that they're hashing out issues with the Galaxy client now. But not honoring their announcements (repeated ones at that) stating you can have a Steam Key in the mean time is just bad form and poor customer relations.
So now we are back to a 50/50 of getting it on gog? Grim Dawn, Van Helsing. I am suprised these will actually be drm, and not require Galaxy like Age of Wonders 3 does.

Wait, what? AOW3 REQUIRES galaxy in order to work?
