real.geizterfahr: You do realize how stupid this sounds, right? Neocore ALWAYS said the game will come to GOG - just not yet...
Well except Neocore always had VERY bad track record when it come to supporting anything that itn't Steam. Their support of the DRM-free versions of King Arthur 1 & 2 was anything short of abyssal until they finally told peoples to get the Steam version if they wanted to continue receiving patches.

So I wouldn't be surprised if with the release of the Final Cut on Steam all their resources went to support this version and that working on the GoG version was very low on their priority list.

GlorFindel: Correct me if I am wrong?
How exactly do you manage to come from "we are having some issues; Galaxy integration being one of them" to "Galaxy will soon be mandatory" ?

Well, normal deduction or just a conspiracy theory! Your choice! :-P

Going to have to go with conspiracy theory. If they didn't want us to be able to download from the site, they would be phasing out those downloads and the installers. From what I can tell, even Galaxy downloads the installers, not the individual files like Steam does. GOG knows that if they make it mandatory, they'll have a lot of angry nerds on their hands.

Yeah, I think that too. Just angry at Neocore and trolling a little. I have been a GOG-er for a long time and they have never disappointed me, ever! And I hope it stays like that. +++ I will never use Galaxy, if I could help it! ;-)

PinguPunk: ... a few days...
Submitted another polite email with my proof of purchase and no dice. Still no Steam key, no GoG release. Trill on, Neocore.

Likewise. My email is not AS polite this time. I realize I'm new to the thread, but I've been following this issue for months. I was told on Feb 8 that the Gog release was "a few days away", with no steam key provided.

Frustrating, to say the least.

jadeite: Not to mention the fact that auto updating in Galaxy is still horrible. I've gone back to use the GOG downloader to download patches.
Gone back?...Lol, I never left!

But seriously, we're pretty lucky with Neocore, as at least they're not another Tripwire/KF2 bullshit...LOL An early access game with a deluxe version, DLC and a pay-wall in game mechanic!

Almost like releasing a GOTY version of a game still in beta!

real.geizterfahr: It got better. The last updates I got didn't just redownload the whole game ;)
You sure about that?Galaxy just started downloading 7 GB for PoE.

Maybe it depends on the games, but yeah, I'm sure about that. I got small updates for Grandia 2 and another game that I can't remember right now.

Rather, on the update.
Still no news yet?

If you missed it there is was an official blog post from neocore about the delay. Here is a link,

http://www.neocoregames.com/2016/02/final-cut-gog-xbox-patch/

However, while it does say that you can get a steam key, I have not yet had luck with that. If you email them for a steam key send a GOG screenshot, a link to the blog post and quote it, and your steam id http://steamidfinder.com/ . I would imagine that would cover your bases needed for a key.

Eh no steam for me. Atleast it says they are going to be bringing it to gog. Hopefully they wont give up. I would like to play this soon though :/
