All I know is I want my GoG version of it. I don't personally care if they give me a steam copy I own the first 2 games on Steam and I repurchased the 2 games on GoG + the third game because I want a DRM-Free version of the games + Final Cut. I am busy with Fallout 4 now so I am not really missing it right now, but I do expect it to appear in my library soon. I can understand a delay but I do expect it in a timely manner like within a month it showed up on Steam, so 12/6/2015. Anything later is really unacceptable.

browndj3: I've been poking them on Facebook to try and get some sort of word or response out of them about some kind of release or acknowledgment that we exist. A whole lot of nothing. I'm not a fan of being snubbed like this, to be honest.
Yeah, I got a terrible feeling of deja vu here; it's not the first time Neocore did something similar.

I remember some years ago with King Arthur on Gamersgate (or other shops) where DRM-free owners were treated as second class citizens with barely any patch released for them while the Steam version was updated regularly.

Until finally they decided that they couldn't be bothered updating the DRM-free version anymore told peoples that if they wanted updates they should get the Steam version instead.

They did offer Steam key but it still left a very bitter taste in my mouth and as a result I didn't bought any Neocore games until they started showing up on GoG.

Hopefully something similar won't happen again this time....

I'll keep trying to get their attention. The squeaky wheel gets the oil or something like that.

Yeah, seems fair. IMO they bit off more than they could chew when they promised to account for mixed ownership. An automated system where you have to own all three in one place shouldn't have been too hard, but now they're tripping themselves up a bit. I just hope they haven't hard-coded Steam compatibility in so hard that they don't even know how to make it Galaxy-compliant...
Apparently the story mode can be played offline but the scenarios are online-only (and you can't transfer an offline-mode character to them). That may be causing an issue for the GoG release.
With the release of the v1.0.2 patch, scenarios are now available offline. I am guessing that the GOG edition will be released soon.

That's good to hear, but it's pretty odd that there was no official word about this being the intention (if that really is the reason for the delay). Some other games like Desktop Dungeons require online access for daily challenges and it's no big deal, but if they overdid the online requirements where it wasn't really needed, then I'm all in favor of making the game as offline-capable as possible in those places. The story mode alone is enough for me to want the release in its current state, though, and that has been offline since the beginning.

IMHO it's probably just that they concentrate exclusively on supporting/patching the Steam version for the time being and won't care about any others versions until this one is "stabilized".
So far, this is the only response I've gotten from their The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing Facebook page.
We don't have an exact date yet but I can assure you we're working on it. You won't have to wait too long.
Not a lot to go on, and doesn't exactly make me feel super great about their progress, to be honest.
Nice to see that! At least we have information that they hope to release it here as soon as possible. Not very reassuring I agree, but better than no information at all...

Agreed. And in the mean time, I'm at least happy to see that people are enjoying the game, so at least it'll be fun.
It kind of feels like a slap in the face to the people who are still waiting on their free copy on GOG that you guys are handing out free copies to other folks. But as you said, we have to be patient and wait, but seriously, some kind of formal update to give us something would be nice.
My most recent comment on The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing Facebook page. Is that too harsh? Does anyone else actually feel this strongly about it as I do? This is genuinely how I feel about the situation, but I don't want them to think poorly of the community if you guys think I should remove it.

No I don't think it's to harsh, something like an official statement isn't much to ask for. I myself bought all three games on gog (although owning the first on steam) because they said we would get it at the same time and now two of our gaming group (who bought it on steam) have to wait for an undefined time before we all can play it together in coop.

Alright good. I would kind of like to see more than just myself making comment on their Facebook page, since that seems to be where they're paying the most attention. Maybe more voices will make them take notice and give us a timeline? I don't know, I'm kind of just scratching my head at the whole situation anymore.

Not too harsh at all. Like Wuto said it's not too much to expect an official response, any response. But so far we got nothing, naturally we feel left out...
