Yay I finally beat this game 10 years after I owned it the first time around. I no longer have the hardcopy of the game so big thanks to GOG for that.

I messed up badly with the disciplines back then, got stuck and gave up.

This time I had done a little homework and the ride went smooth.

Gotta say, perfect moody game for dark autumn evenings.

Congrats! 10 years is a long time, especially in video game years. Maybe Bloodlines will pop up on GOG sometime. I have yet to beat that game since it came out for similar reasons.
Lucky bastard ;)

Still didn't make it... I'm in front of the end Boss but can't beat him. How did you beat him?
Heyyo,

Yeah Bloodlines is very different goes for for the FPS-vibe than RPG.. but still fun and rewarding. It can be currently found on steampowered.com or direct2drive.com (I had it way back and lost my copy, but got it on d2d when Fileplanet had an account renewal offer of a free older game on d2d so I picked Bloodlines lol).

I had my characters built for run up and smash him, bit of a mistake in hindsight took a few attempts to get rid of his first form, I was out of awaken and blood ect so I went back and stocked up before fighting his second form which went down rather easy IMO

Theft of Vitae is nice for stopping him using AAANY abilities at all =)
And for the Rest... Flamethrowers if available, the Chainsaw for your state-of-the-art Melee fighter, and of course Celerity, potence and Feral Claws.

And if that still dosen't help, kite him around a little. He WILL get stuck eventually, and then it's just a matter of...

ammunition =)

Been a while; don't remember a hard time with him (tough, but not frustrating like that Mercurio dude). Had different builds but it seems rockets and RPGs hurt him a lot (and my coterie members). I know I always attacked him from a far but for the life of me, I can't remember what I did. Probably used a lot of scrolls. Oh, and don't EVER give your teammates those two weapons - they fire no matter who is nearby and even harm themselves by firing at point blank range or fire rare, expensive, and bulky rockets and grenades at rats, etc) :)

Hey, Sig: did Javorkis deal with coterie weapons as well as wasteful blood use attacks (I can't remember the "d" word! Darn mind farts!) in 2009/2010/2011?

He dealt with the AI's use of disciplines but not the use of weapons. Use melee ftw.

I was "abusing" prison of ice with Cristoph beating on him with the sword from the knights place while the rest of crew was shooting him wih miniguns.

Sorry for the late reply but better late than never i guess.
I think $19.90 for 7 years old game is too expensive. And i'm referring to Bloodlines, i know the game was pretty successful back then, it worth the price but i didn't really like Steam DRM. I hope Bloodlines will be available on GOG in the future. I don't mind paying $19.90 for the game on GOG because it allow me to keep the game for myself.

Actually, VTMB was pretty much an unmitigated failure at its release. It sold incredibly poorly and was a bug-ridden mess, to the point where many of the people who bought it couldn't actually play it. It wasn't until several years later, after the fan-made unofficial patches matured, that it started to sell better, thus justifying its higher than normal price.

Yes, and much like Redemption, the die hard community keeps putting out new content to keep it relevant. Check out our front page at Planet-Vampire.com for news on that subject.
