Since we, finally, have Bloodlines here... why not create a generic topic about patches, mods and whatnot?

As it widely know - the vanilla vanilla game version stopped at v. 1.2. At it was only 'possible' to beat the game. But thanks to (literally) undying affections from fans - we have unoficiall patch that not only fixes various bugs, but even restores (and adds) content cut! So, with no futher add-on:

Wesp's Unofficial Patch:
http://www.patches-scrolls.de/patch/4647/7/
Here you should find the newest patches. Althought the "normal" GOG version is already patched for bugs, but here you can get also the "Plus Content", with various additional changes (and music from the composer of original soudtrack, who kindly help the community by giving unused track to them).

True Patch Gold:
http://www.moddb.com/games/vampire-the-masquerade-bloodlines/downloads/true-patch-gold-final
This one is, as Wind_Falcon said, 'an alternative' for purists - this patch fixes the bugs but does not change the game. No additional stuff, only what was there to begin with, only fixed.

Bloodline: Antitribu:
http://www.moddb.com/mods/bloodlines-antitribu/downloads/antitribu-11
http://www.moddb.com/mods/bloodlines-antitribu/downloads/version-11-hotfix
Additional clans, Disciplines (shapeshifting, summoninng), quests, maps, characters, changes in combat. The second link is for hotfix (added just in case).

Final Camarilla Edition:
http://www.moddb.com/mods/vtmb-camarilla-edition/downloads/vtmb-camarilla-edition-final
avatar
yarow12: Expansion Overhaul that includes Wesp's Unofficial Patch 6.5, completely changes game mechanics, open ended sandbox feel, discipline overhaul, histories overhaul, weapons re-balance, overhauled tutorial, upgradable 4th discipline, new music)
Clan Quest Mod:
http://www.moddb.com/mods/vtmb-clan-quest-mod/downloads/clan-quest-mod-31
http://www.moddb.com/mods/vtmb-clan-quest-mod/downloads/clan-quest-311-patch
From it's description on moddb: Clan Quest Mod is an add-on for Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines that not only adds many new quests along with a myriad of other new features, but also integrates several other mods for the game, including the Arsenal Mod, the Camarilla Edition Mod, Companion Mod, and more!

The Final Nights:
http://www.moddb.com/mods/vtm-the-final-nights/downloads/vtm-the-final-nights-14-full
http://www.moddb.com/mods/vtm-the-final-nights/downloads/the-final-nights-141-bugfix
7 new calns, 5 new Disciplines, quests, NPCs, mechanics and music, build on Camarila Edition series. There is a bug with Presence and Auspex Disciplines with this mode, so use the fix (althought it's not fully tested yet), otherwise - avoid Presence 3 and higher.

Companion Mod:
http://www.moddb.com/mods/vtmb-companion-mod/downloads/vtmb-companion-mod
http://www.moddb.com/mods/vtmb-companion-mod/downloads/companion-mod-14-patcher
Companion Mod adds party members and traveling companions to the game.

If I find the time to add popular mods (unless you do it faster than me :P), I'll add 'em here.

Have fun, Neonates. ;)

EDIT: And big thanks to Wind_Falcon, yarow12 for providing additional patch/mods!

You a member of the modding community? Much thanks for the patches and mods if so.

Can you answer this question I posted earlier for me? https://www.gog.com/forum/vampire_the_masquerade_series/vtmb_unofficial_patch_plus_restored_disciplines

What? NO! No, no, no, I'm just a fan of the game, which in turn they made enjoyable. And because there is usually a topic like tihs, I posted it here. I hope people will come here and add their findings to the list because, ironically, I'm generaly not a fan of modding games... but VtM:B is one of exceptions - unofficial patch is really a given. Plus conents, clan mods etc. - maybe not, although people not only praise them, but really recommend them. But unoff. is a must.

And sadly I can't answer your question except that people generally recommend going with Plus patch, even on first playthrough.

Ah okay. My bad, lol.

Yeah, i'm generally trying to find out more specifics in the Plus version of the unofficial patch especially in regards to restored or added disciplines, but have come up empty in my searches.

All changes should be listed in patch readme
Since the topic is stickied you can add the True Patch Gold to the first post as an alternative purist patch to wesp's UP Basic.

Wesp's unofficial patch is a must. As Thiev suggested the readme is pretty detailed in changes per release. The plus version really does add some nice meat to the game. It makes it feel a lil more finished.
Here's a link to my own complete mod and patch list (as of September 2015).

To make things easy for y'all, I'll copy the relevant info over. I suggest someone make things even easier (and claim dem +1's) by starting their own topic complete with actual links and such. That is, after doing their own research on the mods/patches listed of course.

To those who are considering playing either of these great games, look into the various patches and mods. This means you, +CrimsonPhantom88.

For Vampire: Bloodlines, google the following:
Bloodlines Antitribu (+7 clans with new models, traits, and disciplines, new mechanics, improved enemies, NPC disciplines, companions, summons, +100 new characters) February 5th, 2015 release.
Project Vaulderie (Unity engine port, multiplayer, storyteller mode, extended moddability, more clans, increased stability, Windows, Mac, Linux, revamped disciplines system, improved enemy AI and pathfinding, less load screens, proper dialog system, multiple character profiles, full co-op support, full character customization)
True Patch Gold (fixes nearly every bug, several optional features, wide-screen fix)
VTMB Mega-Mod tessmage (adult conversion mod, enhances/replaces textures)
Wesp's Unofficial Patch (bug fixes, many optional additions and changes)
Final Camarilla Edition (Expansion Overhaul that includes Wesp's Unofficial Patch 6.5, completely changes game mechanics, open ended sandbox feel, discipline overhaul, histories overhaul, weapons re-balance, overhauled tutorial, upgradable 4th discipline, new music)
Clan Quest Mod (12 new quests, new cutscenes, 36 achievements, +1,000 new dialogue lines, 20 new NPCs, a fourth discipline, integrated mods)
The Final Nights (expansion built upon the Camarilla Edition series, 7 new clans, 5 new disciplines, extra quests, new NPCs, new game mechanics, new music)
Companion Mod (built upon Wesp's Basic Unofficial Patch, recruit NPCs, posses companions, embrace select human companions, place companions around haven in animated poses, changeable outfits, supports outfit packs, +250 dialog responses)

For an explanation as to why you might not find tessmage's Mega-Mod, google "Hey all update 9/21/13, plus I noticed Tessera is livid (again)! page 1"
Bloodlines Antitribu is what came of the cease and desisted Project Vaulderie. The developer(s) talk about it on the Facebook page, if you're interested in scrolling through some updates on the matter.

Also, don't forget the collection of mods/patches located on and everything that Planet Vampire has to offer (skins, tutorials, tools, patches, mods, scripts, videos, misc).

Thanks a lot for the list. :D
I've had trouble getting the antitribu to work on steam (installed by itself) is it possible to run it and the Unofficial patch?
I would add:

1. Force anisotropic filtering in graphics driver settings for the game (this is probably the best graphic boost you can get for Bloodlines). You can also force V-Sync with triple buffering.

2. Add these lines to autoexec.cfg (...\Unofficial_Patch\cfg) for the best sound:

// [Sound Patch]

snd_surround 1
dsp_on 1
dsp_spatial 41
dsp_stereo 1
dsp_dist_max 9999
hisound 1

3. Use SweetFX (...\Patch_Extras\Player Mods)

4. Bloodlines Audio Overhaul v2.0 mod. It's pretty good. Weapons sounds and Malkavian whispers seem much better. In case of Disciplines I have only tested Tremere's ones - Thaumaturgy and Bloodheal sounds are cool but in case of Auspex and Dominate I prefer the original ones. But you can always test everything yourselft and use what you like.

http://www.moddb.com/mods/bloodlines-antitribu/news/bloodlines-antitribu-version-10-changelog-and-details

"Compatibility:
Antitribu contains Companion Mod with all of its features. All the rest big mods, like Clan Quest Mod, Final Nights, Camarilla Edition also latest Wesp's unofficial patches are not compatible with Antitribu. If you install any of the mods over Antitribu, it will inevitably lead to bugs and crashes. You can only install graphical and textural mods."

Unfortunately that's a no. :(
I just bought VTM Bloodlines on GOG.com after my CD-ROM copy failed to work anymore. Nothing I could do would make it work, and so I'm glad to get back into it.

I was wondering if/how these mods work with a copy installed via GOG Galaxy. I ask with complete ignorance for how the mods work or how installation with GOG Galaxy works. Is it just as easy to install these mods as if I were doing it from the installed-from-CD copy?

The installation process of the mods should work the same way it works for any other version of the game (CD, Steam, etc.). However, as it was noted before, the GOG version has some differences compared to the vanilla version of the game with the official patch 1.2. Just saying, I don't think it will cause any issues.

If you have any doubts, you can simply download the installer and install the game manually, thus, doing the exact same process as if it was installed from CD.
Right now I used the main wesp5 plus patch with no problems and I firmly belive there shouldn't be any problems. GOG version just have the basic staff from wesp5 fix to launch and finish the game, and most of mods usually 'presume' you have the fully patched game, anyways.
So no difference.
