Hello Kindred

After a long break I decided to play Bloodlines again and bought GOG version as it had Unofficial Patch already applied. I remember that in OG the only way to save Heather is to tell her to leave before certain mission. I've also heard that in the Unofficial Patch you can save her without getting rid of her. Can I do it in the version of Bloodlines available on GOG or do I need to get Patch Plus or some other mod to do it?
