I've started playing Bloodlines a few days ago and have played about 3 Hours until I had a first bug.
After the fight against Stan Gimble I wasn't able to continue playing because the camera was stuck. I've verified/repaired the game a few times until it eventually worked, but since then it got even worse...

When I enter some buildings the NPCs don't move and when I went to the Pier there was a big yellow box with "Trigger" written on it, but nothing was triggered and I was unable to return to the Main Street area.

I don't have any patches installed and tried to verify/repair a few times but it still doesn't work...
Should I install an unofficial patch or do I have to reinstall the whole game (haven't done that yet, hate my internet)?

I really like this game and it would be a shame if I couldn't continue playing it!

Your bugs look as if you switched between playing the unpatched and the patched version. Only ever start it from the same shortcut! I would recommend to at least start a new game...
That's becasue GOG updated the game to UP 10.0 on July 11, and that made previous saves unusable. I think we have to restart, sorry.
Okay, that sucks but thanks!

I didn't know GOG is able to update without user permission in the middle of a game. Or is this possible when using Galaxy?

You can revert the patch by going to the VMBloodlines entry in Galaxy click more-settings-override features-version then choose the 2nd one from the top, 9.7 basic, make sure you load the save you had with that version, BEFORE you started playing with version 10.
Try that if you are too far in and not in the mood to start over, that said, its better and safer if you just start a new play-through with Patch 10.

By default Galaxy auto-updates, you can disable that in the settings, if you do that galaxy will notify you by adding a blue dot next to the game if an update is available, then you can update when you want.
You can also revert to a previous version of the game as i mentioned above, I do like that feature a lot.

I've started over and now it works just fine, thanks!
Wasn't to much stuff I had to replay and I even realized that I somehow must have skipped the tutorial, so it wasn't the worst thing to happen :D

I played the game many times and I think I skipped the tutorial once. Didn't like not having a lock pick from the get go and the loss of (granted, a few) EPs. Besides, it's not at all a boring tutorial and very useful for beginning players. Long winded way of saying that I agree - not such a bad thing. :)

Sometimes, I'd like to skip the tutorial, but I'm far too much of a munchkin at this game to give up the lockpick and the exp. Or the free weapons. Even if I just sell them.
