Hey there, Im making this post to inform Vampire the masquerade: Redemption players, that NuWON now supports the game.
NuWON is an almost exact clone of Sierra's match making service, WON.NET (World Opponent Network).
Now there is no need to use any special software or VPN for multiplayer. This is because the NuWON network uses the same network protocol as the original WON.Net servers. This allows us to use the original multiplayer features that came with the game.
I am hoping this project will bring all the scattered vampire the masquerade multiplayer communities together. Therefor creating one large community that will hopefully keep this and many other WON.Net games alive for years to come.
At the moment, this is still in a public testing phase because I am the only one I know who has the game. I have tried to fix any bugs that have shown up. But there is always a possibility that a bug will show up for someone else. It would be very helpful if anyone spots a bug to report it to me so I can investigate and fix the problem.
To get started using NuWON head over to neuwon.com and go to downloads to find the patch.
