Anyone know what I can't buy the sledge hammer from the shop in Hollywood? Is says it has a Melee requirement of level 5 and I'm at level 6 but it still won't let me buy it? Is this a bug?

Requirements are not important for buying or using weapons, you only do not get the best result until you meet them. But do you have enough money?

Yes I have enough money it just doesn't respond when I click on buy - although on occasion I get the 'dunnnt' sound when I click on it?...

Try selecting it with the right mouse button, there is a known bug with containers like this...

So it turns out my inventory was full! Didn't realise there was a limit but just caught the text in the corner of the screen when I was clicking on buy...
