Hi,

I tried to install the Camarilla Edition mod, but can't run it with success.
I read, that it is recommended to install it over the clean 1.2 version of the game.
Is there a way to downgrade the gog version to the 1.2 version or get the mod running in another way?

Greetings!

It is solved now. See my last post.

What is the problem and have you already asked on their boards?

After installing the mod the game changed as far that it now displays the "team camarilla" logo when I start the game.
Also at the loading screen it displays "camarilla edition" in the lower left corner.
But in other terms the game does not seem to have changed. When I want to start a new game, the character sheet looks the same as always and does not show the Camarilla Edition features.

Thank you for the recommendation I will also ask on their boards.
Content wise there should be no problem with the GOG build. It uses a fixed executable and some dlls that makes it possible to launch the game post-WinXP but it is basically version 1.2 in terms of content.

You should try and unpack the mod in a separate folder, for example one called 'Camarilla' in the game's directory. Then launch the game with the parameter -game Camarilla. Example: "C:\VtMB\vampire.exe" -game Camarilla

GOG has provided a mod-loader that comes with wesp5's Unofficial Patch. The "unofficial patch" is actually technically a mod that loads from a separate folder. Take a look at it and you will understand how the folders are supposed to be arranged.
Hi, thank you for the advice.

Unfortunately I still didn't get it to work.
I also tried copying the "Vampire" folder of the Camarilla Edition over the "Vampire" folder of the GOG version and as another try over the "Unofficial_Patch" folder. adjusting the parameter respectivley. All with no succcess.
I am running Windows 10 maybe this matters.

Thank you.

SOLVED:

Ok, finally got it running:

One has to download the "Camarilla Edition" modloader version, which is different from the normal one. Then use the "cefinal" folder as the "Vampire" folder for the modloader. To get it running with Windows 10 one has to replace the ".dll" files in "cefinal" with the ".dll" files from the "Unifficial_Patch" folder from the GOG version.

Got the answer from the Team Camarilla Forum.
