No, just used the one with patch.

wesp5: Where is your save game located, in the Vampire/save subfolder or the Unofficial_Patch/save folder (I hope you didn't copy it from one to the other)?
"Unofficial_Patch/save" and I've never copied files between those two.

No and I guess yes. (Just an part, there are some more errors.)

wesp5: What is the date/time stamp of Unofficial_Patch/Python/vamputil.py and vamputil.pyc? Try moving vamputil.pyc elsewhere which will have it rebuild. Does this help?

Now this is weird. The release date of the standalone 9.7 final was 30.3.2017 so your file was changed afterwards. Maybe when GOG compiled their release? Can you download the standalone 9.7 final patch and install the basic version in an empty folder and then copy the vamputil.py from there over to your setup? Also you are not using Wine are you? And last not least, try opening the console in the map before the sarcophagus level and type "G.Chang_Swap". It should be 0 and if it isn't set it with the command "G.Chang_Swap = 0" and then continue.

G.Chang_Swap is allready 0. I will try your other suggestion as soon as I have time (and the mood) to try it again.

Have some other games to play, but I will come back here.

Edit: Exceptionally I haven't played on Wine (needed Windows for an other Software, will be removed again soon ;-) ), but I could try it in Linux. Internet says it works well.

b12moguj: Just the moment I find the sarcofagus, protected by this couple of guys, Chang brothers, after script ends they should talk to me, that's what happens in a gameplay I watched, but they do not, and I cannot do anything, I can't move, use power nor attack.
If I reload, the same problems happens, even if I reload the entire level.
This worked for me:

------ At start of map before trigger the camera panning forward
G.Story_state = 56
noclip - fly past cut scene trigger
talk to changs
kill them (bug means there may be 4 of them, and sadly they don't fight back)

-cut scene should then play

Also having this same issue. Using Wineskin on macOS 10.12.6 with Unofficial Patch 9.9 Plus. The camera pans in to the Bosses then show log update. You can move the camera but can’t do anything else. No dialog appears.

Did you use the Linux loader script in the Patch Extras folder?

Sorry but how do you use the script with Wineskin?

I've since do a complete reinstall of the game with 9.9 Plus patch and merged the Unofficial_Patch with the Vampire directory. Now the elevator at Asylum doesn't open on the 2nd floor.

BTW, thanks for all your work on the patches. Greatly appreciated!

I have no idea. Better ask some Linux geeks over at Planet Vampire!

The pictures are from the console after loading a save before entering the elevator. Then entering and pressing the 2nd floor button. Lots of map errors. I didn't know how to copy the log to a text file and the logging command didn't work so pictures instead.

These are all normal error messages not connected to your problem. Can you move through the door with noclip?

Ya, I can. The elevator does move. But the doors don't open. Weird. Thanks for you help. The 1st floor button works as intended.
