Ok, so the ambient sounds (Sounds\StereoAmbient) are in the mp3 format and every time they loop, there is a very noticeable pause. It's really annoying. I tried to cut the silence at the beginning and at the end of the track and save it in the wav format, but it's not working. Can someone tell me how to make a seamless mp3 loop or how to make game read wav ambient files?

idk, may want to change your default player for mp3 files to VLC or one different from the one you have, or change to XP compatibility mode.
No, it's not the problem with drivers or audio player. They shouldn't make ambient sounds in mp3 format in the first place. I fixed it by making a clean loop in audio editor and then copy-paste it 100 times in one audio file, so now the files are 30min+ long instead of 30s. The loop pauses are now unnoticeable.
