"The AoR Mod allows for the single player chronicles to function in multiplayer without quest-breaking bugs. Additional features include enemy respawn, fixed bullet rules so that humans take proper amounts of damage from firearms, ai enhancements for your party members and enemies so that they'll know how to make logical use of disciplines. Some features can be turned on and off using a config file included with the AoR Mod. "

This is the new updated chronicle/mod recently released. This version runs very smooth. I've play tested it several times over playing through the whole game and its worked wonderfully.

Maybe I should try it - couldn't get the 2010 version to work. I don't even know what the problem was anymore but in the end, we all (including javokis) gave up at getting it to work on my machine.

What operating system are you running? If you can run the regular GOG Vampire redemption, this will work as well. Only difference is that you need to run the AOR icon.

Also too in the troubleshooting section it explains how to set up the networks etc. http://planet-vampire.com/modules/redemption/troubleshooting.php

"Connecting to Multiplayer Using Firewall And/Or Router

If you have a router then you might need to CONFIGURE YOUR ROUTER. You'll also need to configure your firewall. Vampire: The Masqurade Redemption transmits and receives network traffic on port 27960 using UDP and TCP. "

Then do these steps: http://users.telenet.be/mordredshaven/vampire_router/

It'l work beautifully after you do those steps and restart your computer. Restarting your computer is key.

I'd really like to agree with you on that but, if you go to the "Vampire Planet" site, under "Redemption Games in Progress" following "Nanaloma", you'll see we all went through this. Its an enigma - something in my set up, I'm sure; probably such a small thing that we've all overlooked it. I have an older system, XP, AMD Athlon 64x2 dual, 1.8 Ghz, 3Gb RAM, ATI Radeon 3600 card. I don't have the game loaded at present but I'm going to try the 2010 version. That had been my plan anyway. Sometimes, getting it completely out of the head works wonders :).

I do appreciate the help - this has just been one frustrating thing for me and it shows. Oh, and as far as the firewall issues, I'm only SP - I have satellite I-net due to a very remote location (no werewolves yet) and that system isn't compatible with on-line play since there is a large lag due to transmitting to the satellite then to a ground station plus, being a shared system, bandwidth usage is severely limited and speed depends on the number of people using the satellite at once. I should have wireless cable access sometime in the not to far future but, not yet.

If your going to try it again please try the 2011 version. There were some improvements and it runs smoother then 2010. It'l probably save you some headache too!

I tried looking for "Nanaloma" post but I couldn't find it. If your satellite is what's lagging and it causes you to not join any games you should still be able to play version 2011 solo. Gives you more choices of clans and vampires to play etc at least. Plus 2011 betters a number of gameplay items from single player. Hamachi and the steps above usually work though.

Oops. 2011 is what I meant - the 2010 is what I had trouble with. I'm guessing the string on PV didn't make the transfer from the old site. It's been about a year since I've tried it.
Not sure what i'm doing wrong but i can't seem to get the mod working, just doing single player. I downloaded the mod and installed to my gog/redemption folder. and i start the game from the no cd aoR shortcut in the start menu. When the game starts it looks normal 1.1 with no skin changes etc, am i missing something?
for skins etc i also installed the gigapack_final gigaexpansion. but didn't fix anything. I'm sure it's something silly as it would seem no one else has these problems.
Im running windows7 and i cant seem to get the the Age of Redemption mod to work, any suggestions?
Shadow,

You're using a newer build than the previous person, with a much different launcher ect, can you describe the exact issue you're having and what other Redemption mods/skinpacks you may have installed?

Figured I'd post this here instead of making a new forum subject. I just got the AoR mod and the GoG version of VTM:R and when attempting to load the game with the AOR exe it says I am missing the Javai.dll. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
