The game crashes immediately after start. Does anybody else have this problem?

What operating system do you guys use?

My game crashed during the 1st training mission, when the first three tanks spawned. The error originated in AcLayers.DLL. Running Windows 7 Professional x64 SP1 here.

Hmmm, i was testing it on win 10 64 bit machine. Did you make sure there are no apps running in the background?
Any skype, fraps, web browser or anything?
Also, try running the game directly through its .exe file in game folder.

same windows 10 64bit and i dont see how skype can affect it but i will close it and try

This is a very "delicate" game and really anything can affect it, we've already checked it and any applications running in the background are a potential threat to it.

ok closing skype fixed this but now the game crashes whenever i start a new campaign. it plays the tutorials fine

does it crash when you start a campaign mission or when you access campaign screen in menu? Try turning off sky in the options menu if its on.

I have closed every app, even galaxy. still crashes :(

it crashes as soon as the cutscene ends and turning the sky off doesnt fix it.

Same here, I close everything (I've even disabled my second monitor, disabling aero etc.) but it crashes as soon as I launch the executable

Has anyone been able to get the game to work on Win7 64-bit?

I can start the tutorial, but it crashes when it brings up the energy triangle, or whatever it;'s called. Also crashed when I pressed esc during a mission.

Both crashes also reset the sound and graphics options.
