I have a problem with running game on my CrunchBang 11 Waldorf x64 Linux. I've unpacked tarball and tried to run start.sh and got this console output:

start.sh: 9: start.sh: declare: not found
start.sh: 10: start.sh: declare: not found
start.sh: 13: start.sh: Bad substitution
start.sh: 13: start.sh: declare: not found
start.sh: 19: start.sh: source: not found
start.sh: 48: start.sh: define_option: not found
start.sh: 51: start.sh: standard_options: not found
Then I tried to run just uplink.bin.x86. It just showed black screen for second and stopped.
Got any ideas?

It's a Bash script not Bourne shell. In other words: ./start.sh or bash start.sh.

I meant the whole is not working.
It seems that I'm using glibc 2.13. Can you tell me how can I update it without breaking everything?

See the #! forum. Personally, I would stick with a Debian libc6.
