Hello there,
I'm having a problem with the Unreal installer. I've downloaded it three times now (twice through the website and once through the GOG downloader), and every time it says some files are corrupt after the integrity check, and that I should download a new installer. Now surely I cant be unlucky enough to get a corrupt download three times in a row?
Has anybody else had this issue? I'm running vista64, and I've tried running in admin mode, and everything; but am getting nowhere.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Sam

Same problem here... :(
Downloaded it via Safari on OS X and tried to install it in a Crossover Bottle -> corrupt file.
D/L under VM Ware (Vista) via IE -> corrupt file
D/L under VM Ware (Vista) via gog.com Downloader -> corrupt file
D/L natively (Boot Camp / Vista) -> corrupt file
Damn... Not a very good first impression of gog.com
I'm afraid the only solution is to download the installer again... We don't like it any more than you do... :(
It must be getting corrupted somewhere between our servers and your connection, something we have no control of. You may try to contact your ISP and ask them if they're having some technical problems or if other customers had encountered problems with corrupt downloads.

Hmm, okay. I've just downloaded a fourth time to no avail. Interestingly, I also re downloaded a game already in my account, which worked fine, and I have never had this problem with the other GOG installers.
I shall contact my ISP today (BE Unlimited, just to let you know), but I'm not sure if that is the problem. Failing that, I may try again in a couple of days when the demand for that game may not be so busy.
Hi,
I have the same problem. I downloaded twice through the GOG Downloader and twice through normal download. Always the same issue.
Didn't have this problem with any of the other games I bought. Could the GOG guys check the installer again?
Thanks for this really great site though. My old notebook is getting some good use now while at university.

Just out of curiosity (that and I couldn't help myself), I just bought and downloaded Unreal Tournament, and that installs fine first time, so it appears the problem is unique to Unreal. It Kind of rules out my high traffic idea though, as I'm assuming UT would be just as popular , if not more so then Unreal at the minute.
Yeah Yeah...
Corrupted Unreal Gold setup file.
Five downloads and the same &^%$.
Hi
Just doublechecked both installers. Works well and for sure are not corrupted.
But it sometimes happen that downloading such a big files they get somehow corrupted during download process. :|
Only solution what we got for now is to download it once more time. Sorry for troubles...
Hey Guys. I just downloaded the game 3 times with the same results. I hope they get it fixed soon.
Hi I have now tried downloading three times and the same error the MD5 is 2BE2099CB721D773AEC71DAA6C079D8F is this correct I can't find the md5 for this file on your site. Each download is identicle and properties shows version tab. Could the Md5 in the installer be wrong? Kind regards Rob
8 times. Same results. I've downloaded Original War without problems. And I've never had this problem before
According to GoG, file has 237 MB, but my download manager keeps saying 214
Same here no matter how I try to download always says 213.7 MB it must be a server error. I will try again tommorrow. Regards Rob
I downloaded it at least 5 times on our T1 here at work to no avail.
Unfortunately, same here, downloaded many times same result - file size about 214 MB always corrupted (with both IE and Firefox with XP). :(
Hi
Just finished downloading (in regular way - using Firefox) and everything works well.
In fact 214MB is a little to small file for this installer, it should be around 240mb.
