Can anyone enlighten me as to which file I have to edit and how to phrase the FOV command so that I always get a FOV of 105? Multiplayer is not an issue, I'm single player only! Thank you in advance.
If I recall correctly:
Open User.ini, find DesiredFOV and type your own value.
Sorry, no go to get it automatically set. To complicate things if you save a game it saves the FOV with it and on reload restores it but when you switch to a new level it resets the FOV to default. Check this link:

So pretty much have to type it in the console all the time. Thank you for the suggestion however, there is no variable named DesiredFOV in User.ini and creating one in all the sections does not appear to have any effect. But thanks again!

The FOV correction for widescreen can be set from the menu itself, and the game will remember it, but you can do this only after installing the 227e patch.
Does anyone have any knowledge of when (or if) the 227e patch will eventually support the mission pack included with gold? Because that is the only issue keeping me from installing it!
Thank you Phoboss, maybe when I finish the mission pack I'll install 227e just for Unreal!
