The HD skins texture pack got another update (v2.1) that fixes a serious lag issue when using these textures with Unreal Gold.

Hi, I'm the releaser of the pack. Yes there is a noticeable difference, especially on textures that are stretched over a large area like the grass and cliff walls, etc. Still, I think the High Res edition is the best choice for most situations as it is a great comprise between high quality and performance.
