I have encountered a problem with the UT 2004 installer. It is much like the problems listed here:

On that thread, the problem seems to solve itself over time. Everyone had the problem one day, then everyone has it fixed at once the next. The bin-1 file pops up as corrupted for me for UT 2004. I am downloading the file again now, but was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem or has a fix for it?

try using the downloader, and pausing the download intermittantly.

Download the setup exe directly from the website... the version you get with the downloader seems to have some problem.
Just get everything with the downloader, then download the two small files from the website directly, get it all together and run the setup exe you downloaded directly and it should work fine.
