[EDIT]: I updated Underrail from my original GOG download 1.0.0.2 to the current 1.0.0.10, and then spot checked; well, just one of the unmarked containers, and it was still there unmarked. So.. I guess those 'secret' containers are probably a feature. I'll be trying to find them... :)
I'm finding the occasionally unmarked container in the world of Underrail.
These are shelves, boxes, desks, footlockers, etc. (even toilets), that don't highlight when pressing TAB or Z; but do highlight when you mouse-over them. And they sometimes have good loot; such as Oddity's (Oddities?), so it can be worthwhile to find them.
Some are even 'hidden' behind things, so that unless your PC goes behind that thing, you the player won't ever see it (since TAB won't reveal it).
For example, in the attached screenshot (in Core City, otherwise spoiler-free), a toilet that TAB does not reveal, contains an Oddity. So, just like the Dude, it's worth taking another look in that toilet bowl. It's down there somewhere.
(Some do 'sort of' reveal via TAB, in that the TAB causes the container to 'jump in front of' anything blocking it. So you can spot that 'jump' and catch some that way.)
They could be either a bug or a feature. I don't know which. I'm still playing on the older GOG version 1.0.0.2, so maybe this is something patched out later. Don't know. I've been screenshot'ing them as I find them; and there's not a lot of them so far; but enough of them to be worth looking around carefully.
Either way, I think it's cool to have to them. I like the idea that not everything is highlighted and is there for those players looking around a bit more closely than just using TAB.
Anyone else finding them? Or know if it's a bug or feature?
