Does Joey from Blackwell show up in this? I read that it takes place in the same universe, so I'd love Joey to make an appearance.

Even if he was in we couldn't talk to him... or see him in a recognizable form.

There's a pair of possible party members that fill him and Ms. Blackwell's role already. Recovering alcoholic and his 10 year old app game addict (the girl being his Joey).

Haven't met Joey so far, but there's a spirit of a girl called KayKay which is, I believe, the girl Kendra from The Blackwell epiphany.
Detective Sam Durkin also has an appearance.
Also a poster for "A golden wake" in the background of one location.

There's also the hospital security guard from Blackwell Legacy (I think).

Kendra is by far my favorite though, but well I absolutely loved her in Epiphany too.

It was such a neat surprise seeing her here!
Pretty sure the one's who haven't played Blackwell before have also grown to love the character - she was a lot tof fun.
