I haven't gotten the GOG release of IV-VI yet (and probably won't, since I already have the Ultima Collection CD), but I noticed something in the preview pics that struck me as odd.

Is it me, or is the intro of Ultima VI slightly redrawn? I distinctly remember on the version I have (again, from the Collection), there's a pizza box sitting on the table next to the Avatar's chair; just similar enough to a Domino's box to know that's what they were going for, yet different enough to keep lawyers at bay. In the screenshot of the intro here on GOG, however, the box has been removed and replaced by a magazine of some kind, opened and face-down on the table.

Seems rather an odd thing to change at this late date, but apparently, change it did... What happened here, I wonder? Did Domino's finally complain, two decades after the fact?

I don't have the GOG version either, but in the original the pizza box isn't on the table next to the Avatar - it is on the floor, and you only see it once the view shifts to the window.

Huh. I guess I misremembered, then; I just double-checked my own copy after you said this, and it did play out as you described. I could've taken a blood oath I saw the pizza box on the table.

Oh well, disregard then.
