Anyways, as a fan of the Ultima series, as well as appreciating the things that shaped gaming as we know it today, it's really sad to see so few people actually know about these games. So, in an attempt to help bring these games more attention, I've started a retrospective review of the series. The video for the first game was just finished so I thought I'd share it here to get some feedback, opinions, help spreading knowledge of these games around, etc :)

Keep in mind that the Age of Darkness trilogy (1-3) will have a final review at the end of 3's video since these games have so much in common and have less to joke/nitpick about (you can only give a game crap for 80s graphics so many times). Also, keep in mind that I have insane amounts of respect for these games, so most of my comments/complaints/etc are all meant in jest and are purposeful overreactions.

As this is my first video of this size, I'd of course appreciate any feedback/comments/criticism :)

And, yeah, I actually had to quit playing U9 for about 5-6 years before I felt ready to tackle it again XD Seeing one of your favorite series bastardized in the "finale" game is heartbreaking lol

After almost 2 months, I basically just said I need to cut my losses and move on to the rest of the series, especially considering I've got 11 more games to get through XD It's been 2 months of nothing but hardware failures, late shipments, corrupted files, things not going as planned, etc. Considering how primative these early games were and how similar they were, there isn't too terribly much to say about them, so I'd rather keep on moving into the games that made the series so much fun. So it's not even CLOSE to what I wanted, I'm not really happy with it at all, but with so many more reviews to do, I think I can be okay with one stinker in the bunch :p I'm thinking I'll go back and re-do this one after I finish the rest.
