Hello, fellows!

Recently I have stumbled upon the next problem: suddenly my characters, armed with the triple crossbows(Iolo, Spark and Jenna), started swapping their TCs with another random weapons in their backpacks during a battle! First it stared with Iolo, then, some times after, with Spark and Jenna... What might be the problem? Thanks in advance!

PS. other projectile weapons(like bow and boomerang) work well - no swappings...
Are they perhaps out of ammunition for their crossbows--bolts, specifically? (I forget whether ammunition is required, but I have a suspicion that it is.)

No-no-no, buddy - I'm not that stupid .)) - a _full_ of ammo they are!..

Such a sad glitch... (
Hmm... I don't know, then. Maybe removing and re-adding their ammunition will help? (Perhaps they've lost track of it?)

Or, if their ammunition is in a bag, perhaps try keeping it in their base backpacks.

But these are just guesses, I'm afraid; perhaps someone else will have another idea!

Hmm... never thought of this... will definitely try it, thanks for an advice!

Nooo, ammo must be in an _ammo slot_ so that the character would be able to shoot with a projectile weapon(well, except a sling, AFAIR)... And in my case ammo _is_ in the _right slot_, but when battle begins - Iolo, Spark and Jenna immediately change TCs to either a bare hands(if they got no other weapons in BPs/bags) or to any other weapon should it be in a BP/bag. After the battle ends, I find their TCs in either their BPs or in their bags... Delirium as to me!

Strange thing is they (I,S,J) still can use bows(ofc with an arrows in the right slot) .(

Anyway thank You for the guessing, mate!..
Aaah, right--I'd forgotten about the ammo slot! (It's been a little while since last I played the game. ^^; )

But yeah, analogously to the old tech-support approach of "have you tried turning it off and turning it on again", let's see whether removing their ammo and then putting it back helps somehow!

[edit] A quick search turned up the following thread on the Exult forum--perhaps some of what's said within might be of use!

Bless You, buddy! Shaking Your experienced hand! .) Thanks for the link - problem solved: for a TCs I should use _only_ a special bolts, which "if double-clicking on those bolts gets you a comment from Iolo".

Thanks for support!
Aaah, it's my pleasure, and I'm glad that the link worked! ^_^

(PS: If two copies of this post appear, then my apologies--it seemed that the forum ate my first attempt!)
