sdbutler80: I am trying to get a handle on Ultima 6, but I am having problems with inventory management. I end up with my character carrying a ton of weight, and no obvious way to transfer some of that weight to other party members.
How do I go about transferring items?

Assuming you're using the GOG version with DOSBox, hit 'M' (for Move) with the cursor over the item you want to transfer. Then you can hit the party member's number (1 = Avatar, 2 = Dupre, etc.) or move the cursor to the party member you want to move the item to. I think TAB allows you to get the cursor in and out of the inventory screen (but I could be wrong, it's been a while).
If you use
Nuvie to play the game you can simply click and drag. If you choose to use Nuvie, download a daily build, not the 0.4 build that's 1 1/2 years old. They'll be releasing a new version soon, I think, but for now dalies are the best bet.
