As we all know Ultima 7 is riddled with these runic signs that need translating.

I read here of a way to make them all readable to save keep translating them all.

http://lparchive.org/Ultima-VII-The-Black-Gate/Update%207/

I assume there is no way in Exult to this, well I cannot find one.

is there a way does anybody know ?

no there is currently no way to change the runes to english in ultima 7 nor is there any fan patches or modsthat will do that for you, in Serpent's Isle if I recall you can just use the translation spell and there is a runeless patch for Ultima 5 but not 7
If you have cheats enabled In Exult, you can press F2 to bring up the cheat menu. Press N, 0, and then enter(return). You'll now be in the npc edit menu for the Avatar. Press N to reach the npc flags menu. Pressing 4 will set 'Read' to Y(yes) in the menu. Keep pressing X until you exit the cheat menu. Now other languages will be translated.

See attached pic. And yes, I realize I didn't do double letter symbols. This is just a font, and I don't know if it has those. :P

The runic symbols are difficult to understand, and are especially hard to write in. This tool helps you solve the problem, and converts your text to runic for you instantly. This online Runic Text Converter is used for a more customized social media experience, or generally for a more specific text format. It will add a very interesting and fun to your content.

this should be marked as the answer.

As far as I know cheats are always enabled in Exult, so yeah, what Malignant_Manor said. :)

FYI, a lot of the patches can be found in Pix's Ultima Patcher, which aggregated a lot of patches from a number of different places.
I am going to go really old school here.

Back in the day of floppy disks on my old tandy computer I actually learned to read Runic.

I can still do it to this day!

That's pretty cool! I'd definitely keep leaving behind weird notes everywhere, for laughs.
