You're welcome ;-)
How it works? Does it extract game files from GOG installer and installs the game with its own instance of DosBox?

It does extract the game files, then builds a .deb package depending on the system version of DOSBox.
Saved games and settings are stored in the current user home directory, while game data files are stored read-only in system directories.

Great! Thanks for explanations!
... must... have... GWENT! *druel*

Why must GOG torment me so? We had this working before Galaxy came along, or so I thought?
Update

The script for Akalabeth has been updated to use ./play.it 2
Amongst other improvement, this brings the ability to use the script to install this game on Arch Linux and derivatives.
Very cool! Is this script how the GOG Akalabeth (and other GOG games you've created installers for) supports Linux? Or is this separate from GOG Linux support for these titles?

In your first post, you mention "Ultima games", but there's only support for Akalabeth. Are youns planning on supporting the Ultima games?

GOG Linux support is done without using my work in any way, as far as I know ;)

Exact.
By the way, request for new games can be posted here or there.
