Patched it with the Pix thing and now the game runs too fast, everything moves at the speed of light and the moon cycles in the blink of an eye. How do I fix this?
have you try lowering your dosbox cycles? when playing try hiting ctrl+f11 to lower the cycles till the game is running smoothly once you know what the cycle number is then go into the game's Dosbox config, which is located in c:\gog.com\ultima 4 or \Ultima Second Trilogy\Ultima 4 and just lookf for dosboxUltima4F if it's the free version or dosboxUltima4 if it's the version that comes in the Ultima 4+5+6 bundle. Now open this file in notepad and find the line mark cycles= and change the number to the number of cycles you had when the game ran smoothly.

Crtl F11 doesn't do a damn thing, the cycle setting says "Max"... and it won't save when I try changing it to even test

Can you post your config file? Change the extension to jpg and post it as an image and I (or anyone else) can take a look at it for you.

There is frame limiter in this version if you are enabled VGA graphics. Press ALT+F to toggle frame limiter.

I thought there was a frame limiter but he said it's running at the speed of light so I figured I was mistaken... I didn't know about alt-f....

The Ultima Patcher includes an older music only patch which doesn't have a frame limiter so he must have used that. The patch doesn't work too well with DosBOX and needs a much higher cycle setting for the music to play at the right speed which it why it sets cycles to max.

Unless you have to play with EGA graphics, the best bet is to uninstall the music patch and go with the VGA patch.
In Ultima 4, how do you touch an orb in a dungeon? I am in Deceit and staring at an orb and i cant seem to do anything with it. If I try to get it like a chest it just says Not Here!
Try S for Search if I remember right.
