I'd like to clean up the hintbook (try at least:P). I don't mind the pages being yellow, but the fact that the scans were made without sacrificing the original hintbook (cutting itto separate pages), which adds the shadow on the internal side (due to paper folding) and that the pages themselves are sometimes tilted a bit, makes the whole thing loose it's appeal a bit.
I'm thinking about extracting the TIFFs from the PDF, making a template page, and cleaning them up a bit in Paint.NET (i guess) and then insert them on the template, but i've never done anything like this before. Is there anything You guys might know that would help me? And of course, is it actually legal?

I think it adds to the appeal. The shadows and tilted pages make it look more...real. It retains the charm of an actual booklet.
