Anyone got any help with the geoscope running too slowly?

I can't do the ATI fix (Since one of the settings isn't available to me) and while capping my FPS DID help, it's still far too slow compared to when the game was working fine before.

I just finished the original X-com and was looking forwards to returning to Aftermath.

EDIT: Weirdly something that helped alot was running FRAPS with the game, the Geoscape still isn't "full" speed but it's only slowed down slightly compared to the sometimes dead stop wtihout it.

I managed to solve it with some trial and error, I saw claims it was FPS related but my graphics card limiter(AMD Radeon) wouldn't limit Aftermath for some reason. (I could set the setting but it would fail to actually limit it.)

However Bandicam (A free recording software) comes with a limiter and sure enough, it works, locking the game to 60 FPS fixes the Geoscape Issue. (I've updated the PC gaming wiki page for Aftermath with the fix.)

So for anyone else with this issue, you have to (via some sort of external limiter) limit the FPS to 60.

Download the free version of Bandicam from the official website, you can limit your FPS with it.
Any other sort of method to force FPS limiting might work.
