Just started playing and only 2 hours into it, and got a major Black Company vibe. Anyone know for sure if the books influenced this game?

And if you enjoyed this game but never read the Black Company then do yourself a favor and read the series.

I downloaded it form Audible about a month ago. I've listened to several chapters and it hasn't got me hooked. Maybe it's one of those that you have to dive deep into (which is fine). Maybe I haven't given it a good chance yet. So far it hasn't spiked any interest.

Gen Cook's "Black Company" Series = true "Players Handbook" and "Dungeon Masters Guide" for every role playing game
