Hello, everyone. I have encountered a part in this game, and i don't know how to progress. I am beginning to think that it may even be a bug.

So here is the story: I'm pretty far in with the game and i've thrown my lot in with the disfavored... more or less. I went to the stone sea in order to "speak to Caedis and Radix." Now, I chose the disfavored because they are less chaotic and seem to at least beleive in *something* or other, yet, evidence leads me to believe that they are not innocent in the conflict.

I thus shirk from taking more sides. When i go to halfgate though, the chorus is rearing to attack me, and not even speaking to the non-enemy chorus members can come to a peaceful solution, and no sneaking through the city solves anything. Ok, so no option for a solution besides bloodshedding; that's too bad. I had to kill all of the chorus, even though I really think there was no need to do that and their wrath level wasn't that high.

So I killed them all and set the bestmen free, and yet, after reporting to Caedis and Radix and reporting that everyone was butchered, I am not progressing the quest to "speak to Caedis and Radix." A pity. Also, quests which i have gotten suggest that i need to move on to another area, however, no other areas are being unlocked, and I have found no dialogue option permitting me to move on. What is happening here.

By the way, I also said that I would not massacre the beastmen. Is this the problem? Am I supposed to shed yet more blood only to find some evidence for tunon? Surely, there must be solutions past this point other than killing everything.

Anyone have any ideas?
The Disfavored are pretty elitist, so on that path slaughtering everyone is often your only option. There are some rare instances where you can avoid slaughtering certain foes, but these are the exception on this path.

As for Radix and Caedis, after speaking to both of them, did they happen to mention their plan perchance? IIRC you need to visit Graven Ashe and let him know their plans, and then you should be able to progress from there.

Well, speaking to Ashe solved nothing, however, Reloading an older save, I found out that I just have to be very enthusiastic about killing everything, and then the paths will open up for me. It's almost magical.
