I bought Two Worlds: EE five days ago. Whenever I try and use the GOG Downloader it keeps saying that there is a connection error and will not begin the download. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Downloader many times and tried to run it as an administrator but it still won't work. Anyone have suggestions?
DL through your browser?

Tried that multiple times too in firefox, chrome, and explorer. Always says the files are corrupt and to redownload

Weird. Maybe it's an antivirus problem? Have you tried switching of your AV for the time it takes to DL the files?

Tried that as well. Disabled all firewalls and AV and still nothing
Did you INSTALL the downloader as admin, as well as run it as admin? If not, try that.

Can you download large files without corruption from other sites? With my old computer I had an issue where downloading or unpacking large files would always fail, no matter where they were from, and it turned out to be a problem with my RAM. Hopefully that's not your problem!

You could also try contacting GOG support to see if they can help. The fact that the downloader never even starts is weird.

Running it as an admin still doesn't work.

A week or two ago I downloaded and installed The Witcher without any problems and that game is a few gigabytes bigger than Two Worlds. I contacted GOG support now I'm just waiting on a reply.

That's good. Did you download the Witcher from GOG? Is it only Two Worlds that's giving you download problems, or all games from GOG?

Yea I downloaded The Witcher, Fallout, and Empire Earth all from GOG without problems. Two Worlds is the only one that doesn't want to download.

In that case I'd wait to hear from GOG support. Sounds like maybe there's a problem with your account or something. I downloaded Two Worlds with no problems, but that was a while ago.

If you haven't heard from GOG in a few days, you can submit another ticket. Sometimes it takes them a little while to get back to someone but they should get back to you.
It looks to me like there might be a problem with the server hosting Two Worlds files for your location.

GOG support may help or you can download from another place, like a friend's PC, and hopefully get the files from a different server.
